The reconstruction of the track field in Dresden-Reick is one of the large railway projects in the federal state of Saxony.

At a height of 14m, DB-listed luminaires 171, 181, and models 173, 183 in dual design, are mounted. The block form luminaires offer a lighting intensity of 10 Lux for the regular track field, and 50 Lux for the operating area.

Taking into consideration shade creation by the trains themselves was a special requirement of the project. Our light technicians calculated the optimum light point requirements in order to carry out all maintenance work under the best possible circumstances.
